商品説明
Holey carbon support membrane for TEM
The carbon film thickness is 10-25 nm, and the film pores are regularly opened all over by semiconductor manufacturing technology. There are various sizes such as φ2um circular holes (R2/1) every 1um and φ1.2um circular holes (R1.2/1.3) every 1.3um. In the square type, a 7 x 7 μm square is separated by a 2 μm wide crosspiece (S7/2), both of which are affixed to the TEM grid.
* Since the hole diameter (or spacing) size is a nominal value, an error may occur.
* Although there are some defects in the carbon film, the usable area is 75% or more.

UltrAuFoil Holey Gold Support Membrane
Newly developed for cryo-electron microscopy, these ultra-stable gold support membranes reduce the drift of frozen samples during imaging. You can improve image contrast and quality and get better 3D reconstructed images with less data. When imaging with a cryo-electron microscope, the conventional carbon support film drifts, especially at the start of irradiation, which blurs the image and makes it difficult to identify the structure of minute, difficult-to-handle molecules. UltrAuFoil, designed by MRC's Dr. Christopher J Russo and Dr. Lori A Passmore's Molecular Biology Lab, can significantly reduce sample drift.
