The surface of the tape is smooth because it uses an aluminum base material. You can observe the sample at low to medium magnification without the effect of background disturbance on image quality. In addition, the quality of the product has been improved compared to the conventional type (nonwoven fabric base material), such as reducing drift and making it easier to observe fine particles at higher magnification.
The surface is black because it is an adhesive that contains carbon powder as a conductive filler.
Acrylic adhesive is used, and the adhesive may melt out when heated. This product is intended for use at room temperature.
