Technovit 7100 is ideal for slicing resin-embedded samples to the micron level. Originally developed for observing biological tissues, it has been proven to be practical in the industrial field based on past achievements.
·Scope of application
Can slice plastic, metal leaf, paper, fiber, sponge, bio products, etc. to a thickness of 1 μm
·Material property
A resin composed of three components based on HEMA (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate). If you use a microtome for light microscopy of material samples, the Technovit 7100 is the best resin for you.
Pre-penetration is recommended for porous products, textiles, paper, etc., but no additional permeation treatment is required for plastics and metal leafs.
