EM-Tec Water-Based Conductive Carbon Paste
EM-Tec C30F is a water-based conductive carbon paste containing finely dispersed graphite flakes (~<1 to 2μm, up to 5um). EM-Tec C30F carbon paste does not contain hydrocarbon-based solvents and is fully compatible with high vacuum (HV) and UHV systems when dry.
Due to its low viscosity, it can easily fill cracks and small gaps. Once dried and cured, it exhibits good electrical conductivity.
When heated to 300°C, the resistivity decreases to approximately 1.
25 ohms/square is ideal for mounting SEM samples and creating grounding paths. The low mechanical strength allows for easy sample removal later.
It exhibits good adhesion characteristics to a variety of sample materials, including metals, rocks, concrete, ceramics, epoxies, wood, and fibers. Other applications include lubrication and shielding of moving surfaces.
EM-Tec C30F contains approximately 22% graphite in solution.
It comes in a 60cc glass bottle containing 40g. Keep the container above 0 degrees Celsius and do not freeze.
